Lorelei gets much satisfaction helping people solve their landscape problems.  One area of landscaping that is very important to her is that landscaping be attractive throughout the entire year.

Lorelei received her Associate of Applied Science in Horticultural Technology degree from OSU/OKC.  During that time she also went through the training program from Oklahoma County Extension  and became a  Master Gardener.  She is also a Certified Oklahoma Nurseryman.

While at OSU/OKC she completed 12 hours of Floral Design classes.  She has taken a series of special classes to met the standards to become an Oklahoma Master Florist.  She is now taking classes to meet the qualifications to become an Advanced Oklahoma Master Florist.

She has worked at TLC for 6 years.  Part of the time she is working in the Floral Shoppe.  She also is one of the horticulturists who answers the phones  and assist the callers with their questions. She   works part time  in the trees/shrub area helping customers pick out the appropriate plant for a special location.  She also writes the monthly TLC customer news letter: 'Tidbits'

TLC began a program called 'Landscaping Lite' where customers can call and make an appointment with Lorelei and she will assist them in the garden center.  It is helpful if you will bring in pictures, dimensions and some idea of what kind of landscaping you would like.  She will then sit down with you and suggest plants that will  fit into your landscape.  There is no charge for this service

In addition to working at TLC Lorelei teaches 'Basic Landscape Design' at Francis Tuttle Vocational Technical school.

If you would like to talk to Lorelei call TLC and leave a message on her voice mail  751-0630  #114.
