12"-14"Pots

q       Use a clean pot with fresh TLC potting soil.

q       Make sure pot has good drainage.

q       Fill pot to rim with loose soil.

q       Start by planting 'A' (if used) in center of pot.

q       Proceed by planting remaining plants -- evenly spacing them.

q       Firm soil gently - adding more soil if needed.

q       Water thoroughly - check water daily - use a good soluble.  

Examples

For a red, white & blue sun pot:

            a.  Blue salvia

            b.  Red geraniums

            c.  White dianthus, white periwinkle or white petunia

            d.  Asparagus fern or blue daze

 

For a pastel shade pot:

            a.  Variegated sage or asparagus fern

            b.  Lavender new guinea impatiens

            c.  Pink impatiens, hypoestes or white browallia

            d.  River daisy
