Marching Orders: Some things have gone dormant that don’t usually.  Give things more time to leaf out and then prune to shape and clean or replace if necessary.

Email Question:

Does TLC carry Dianthus ‘Fire Witch”?

Answer: Dianthus Fire Witch is the Perennial for 2006.  It is a neat little plant with magenta pink/red blooms.  Yes we carry it.

Question:

Does TLC carry hydrangeas?  When do you plant and where?

Answer: TLC has several selections of Hydrangeas.  They need to be planted now and in a protected location in morning shade.  One of my favorites is the Endless Summer which is a blue which blooms most of the season.  There will be a pink version coming in the next few months.

Best of Show: Ronnie Kay for his masonry work on his entry way statues.

Prize is $ 25 TLC Gift Certificate.
